Dan earned his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto, having previously graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. As a passionate lifelong learner, Dan has pursued additional training in manual therapy, acupuncture, instrument-assisted soft-tissue mobilization, taping, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, and concussion management. He is an active member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and Orthopaedic Division. Dan has been involved with ergonomic consulting, as well as varsity athletics, cardiac rehabilitation and cancer wellness programs.
Dan believes strongly in working collaboratively with his clients to achieve their rehabilitative goals in order to help get back to the activities they enjoy. He employs a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, soft-tissue work, modalities, exercise and acupuncture. He is committed to empowering clients with an evidence-based treatment plan, that emphases education and individualized exercise prescription for long-term therapeutic success.
Outside of the clinic, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, and loves to stay active in the gym. In the summer he can be found on the volleyball court or looking for his ball on the golf course. He is always open to trying new activities having recently taken up curling and yoga.
