Leda Nazaj is a registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Tirana (1998) and a Master degree from the university of Calgary (2008). She is a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, as well as the Ontario Association of Social Workers.

Thought-out her career, Leda has dedicated her work in helping others throughout different organizations in support to women suffering from domestic violence, sexual abuse and other areas such as trauma, self-esteem, grief, marriage counselling and youth.

As a therapist, she developed her skills incorporating different modalities such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialect Behavior Therapy and UMAB (Understanding & Managing Aggressive Behaviour).

Leda also spent over 10 years working as a crisis counsellor responding for services from the Toronto Police in support to victims of crime and sudden tragic circumstances such as grief and trauma.

In addition, Leda has provided counselling services for motor vehicles accident victims and worked as a crisis response worker at the Peel Children’s Centre, helping children and youth experiencing serious mental health issues and behavioural difficulties.

Leda firmly believes in engaging in a collaborative, compassionate, and respectful way to create the conditions required for individuals to move towards wholeness.

Despite years of dedication in helping others, Leda is also a mother and a wife. For her, The work-life balance definition is the achievement of harmony.
