Leda Nazaj is a compassionate and dedicated registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Tirana (1998) and a Master's degree from the University of Calgary (2008). She is proud to be a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, as well as the Ontario Association of Social Workers.

Throughout her career, Leda has remained committed to supporting individuals facing various challenges, with a particular focus on empowering women impacted by domestic violence, sexual abuse, and trauma. Her expertise extends to areas such as self-esteem, grief, marriage counselling, depression and youth issues.

As a therapist, Leda has honed her skills by integrating different modalities, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialect Behavior Therapy, UMAB (Understanding & Managing Aggressive Behavior) and Emotional Focus Therapy.

Leda's dedication to crisis intervention is evident in her decade-long tenure as a crisis counsellor, responding to calls from the Toronto Police to support victims of crime and sudden tragic circumstances such as grief and trauma. She has also provided counselling services for motor vehicle accident victims and served as a crisis response worker at the Peel Children's Centre, offering vital support to children and youth facing serious mental health challenges and behavioural difficulties.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Leda finds fulfillment in her roles as a mother and a wife. She believes in the importance of achieving harmony in work-life balance, recognizing that personal well-being is essential for effectively supporting others.

With her unwavering commitment to compassionate and collaborative care, Leda Nazaj continues to make a positive impact on the lives of those she serves, guiding them toward wholeness and empowerment.
