Neuro Physiotherapist Janna is a Physiotherapist at Pillars of Wellness with multiple years of experience treating infants, children and adults with neurological conditions. She has experience in a variety of settings including neurological out-patient rehabilitation, school-care, children’s treatment centers, and community care.

Janna has dedicated her career to working with individuals with complex orthopedic and neurological injuries including traumatic brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injuries. Janna has specialized training in pediatric physiotherapy assessment and treatment and works with infants and children with a variety of acquired and congenital conditions including, but not limited to, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, Global Developmental Delay, Autism, club foot, and low tone (hypotonia).

Janna is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and attained a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University. Her post-graduate training includes courses and certifications in NDT-Bobath therapy, gait and balance training, gross motor development, Cuevas-Medek Exercises (CME Level 1 Certified), and management of orthopedic concerns in children with cerebral palsy.

Janna’s mission is to help her clients optimize their mobility and function, in the most enjoyable way possible! She believes physiotherapy shouldn’t feel like a tedious exercise, and always tries to make her sessions and exercise programs functional, engaging and fun!
