Occupational Therapist Megan has more than 6 years of community pediatric experience. She worked with children and their teachers and/or caregivers and provided services in the client’s home, daycare, or school. Services included assessment, recommendations, consultation and treatment in the areas of fine motor development, gross motor development, self-care, feeding, adaptive equipment, visual motor integration, self-regulation and sensory integration.

I strongly believe in empowering each individual client to help them achieve success. I view each client as unique with their own individual strengths and challenges, thus programs are creatively designed to maximize outcomes and client-directed goals. I strive to devise innovative solutions to clients’ needs and am constantly seeking to enhance my knowledge in all areas of rehabilitation.

Megan is passionate about supporting children of all unique abilities and enabling them to participate in meaningful activities to maximize their occupational potential in the areas of self-care, school work or leisure activities. She believes in a client-centred approach to build off their interests to promote learning through play.

Megan is registered with the College of Occupational Therapist of Ontario (COTO), is a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT) and attained a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto. Her post-graduate training includes courses and certifications in Handwriting Without Tears, The CO-OP Approach, Pediatric Feeding, Sensory Integration, and Neuro-developmental Treatment (NDT).
