Sarita is an Occupational Therapist at Pillars of Wellness. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree (Psychology) and a Master of Occupational Therapy degree (MOT) from the University of Manitoba. She has over 15 years of experience working with adults in both acute medicine and community-based settings.

She is a member of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She has recently developed a passion in the area of mental health and has completed coursework in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) from Beck Institute as well as education specific to treatment for adults with ADHD and other cognitive challenges.

In addition, other areas of interest to her include Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Sarita is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their goals and maximize their quality of life.

Sarita believes in an integrative health model and enjoys working collaboratively with the Pillars of Wellness team to provide a holistic approach to care. Learning new techniques and modalities has helped her achieve great results in her patients. 

In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her young family.
