During your first visit to our Burlington physiotherapy clinic, you’ll receive a full assessment which involves an in-depth review of your current symptoms and persona history. Based on the assessment, your chosen therapist will determine the next step and develop the most effective and appropriate treatment plan.

Your first initial visit will also include treatment based on the assessment. Both, Mari and Nicole are certified and trained to perform dry needling and other types of modalities to help in your recovery. Visits are conducted in private rooms with one-on-one care only.

What Should I Expect On My First Session?
The first visit is an assessment of your symptoms and an opportunity to learn more about your medical history and what could have caused your injury or condition. Then, based on the assessment, the therapist will start some treatment. At the end of the session, the therapist will recommend a plan of care to get you back on track and achieve your goal(s).
What Should I Bring With Me?
You will want comfortable or loose clothing, such as athletic wear, that allows for comfortable movement. Also bring your insurance information so we can check your coverage.
How Many Sessions Are Required?
This will depend on your condition and its complexity. In general, for muscle pain related issue, you will require between 6-9 treatments. If you have a complex pain issue, this will likely take longer.
Is There Homework To Do Between Sessions?
Yes, there is homework. Some examples of homework you may have include stretches and strengthening exercises.
