Custom Orthotics in Burlington
Your feet are the foundation that supports your entire body, therefore, it makes sense that foot problems could affect the rest of your body.
Custom orthotics are external devices used to modify and support the structural and functional characteristics of the neuro-musculoskeletal system. Many patients present to us with pain in the feet, knees, hips or low back. Custom foot orthotics are an external device designed to fit into the footbed of your shoe. They provide support by redistributing ground reaction forces and redistributing weight. After a thorough assessment custom orthotics are cast and designed by our skilled chiropractor. We create a 3D model of the cast and a unique product is made that will help you, our patient get back to living your best life, pain-free!
Our Chiropractor, Dr. Amrit Matharu , provides prescriptions for, and also cast orthotics, at Pillars of Wellness for her patients and anyone in need of orthotic appliances. Dr. Matharu will work with you to determine the best product based on your needs.
Dr. Matharu will also develop a comprehensive treatment plan to address your foot and related health concerns. In addition to orthotics, she may also suggest exercises, chiropractic care, physiotherapy or other modalities to help you regain function and improve your wellness.
Extended health benefits may cover some or all of the cost of custom orthotics. Pillars of Wellness does not accept assignment of benefits and our professional services are rendered and charged directly to the patient and of their family who are responsible for all fees incurred. For your convenience, we will gladly assist you in providing statements and necessary forms so that you can be reimbursed by your insurance carrier, however, please be mindful that our primary financial relationship is with our patients and family and not with their respective insurance companies. Burlington Orthotic Center experts can definitely help you!
