CBT Anxiety Group Program

Are you interested in learning practical skills to manage your anxiety?

CBT for anxiety is a supportive, skill-building, psycho-educational group, it is not a support group. The group provides coping strategies and skills, along with exercises to foster progress and lessen symptoms of anxiety. Experts agree that the most effective form of treatment for anxiety disorders is cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT).

This group focuses on the following:

  • Learn skills to decrease your worry and anxiety through the use of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
  • Identify and understand symptoms and nature of anxiety
  • Identify and change anxious patterns and habits using neuroplasticity (the brain’s ability to change and grow to form new pathways and make new connections)
  • Personal goal setting
  • Weekly at-home practice exercises



Are The Group Therapy Conducted In-Person or Online?

All our group therapy are conducted online. We will provide you with a link to access the conference video. It's an encrypted end-to-end platform and is completely secured.

Is what I say kept confidential?

We do not share any information about your counselling sessions to anyone without your consent. There are some exceptions to confidentiality. If there is the possibility of harm to the client or another person, or in cases of child or elder abuse, the counsellor is mandated to report certain information to the appropriate authorities.
