Abida is a Registered Physiotherapist who earned her Canadian licence in 2011. She has over 7 years of extensive experience working with individuals with musculoskeletal
and orthopedic conditions in various clinics and hospitals. She has completed a variety of orthopedic courses including, McKenzie Parts A and C, Orthopaedic Manual Course
Levels I and II.
In addition, Abida has acupuncture training through The Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. Abida is well versed to assess and treat Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ) which causes pain in the jaw joint due to a variety of medical problems. She is also trained in vestibular treatment which helps with vertigo and dizziness.
Abida is very experienced in working with acute and chronic pain patients and believes in active base therapy along with manual and hands-on approaches. She is a team player and works collaboratively with other multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic care to clients according to their individual needs.
