Abida is a Registered Physiotherapist who earned her Canadian License in 2011. She has over 7 years of extensive experience as a physiotherapist, working with individual with
musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions in different clinics and hospitals. She has completed a variety of orthopedic courses including, McKenzie part A and C, Orthopaedic Manual Courses level I and II and also have acupuncture through Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. In addition, Abida is well versed to assess and treat with Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) which causes pain in the jaw joint due to a variety of medical problems. She is also trained in vestibular treatment which helps with vertigo and dizziness.
Abida is very experienced in working with acute and chronic pain patients and believe in active base therapy along with manual and hands-on approach.
She is a team player and works collaboratively with other multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic care to clients according to their individual needs.
