Margaret Wilding


Margaret Wilding is a Physiotherapist registered with College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.    She graduated from University of Western Ontario with Bachelor of Science; Physical Therapy and has extensive post graduate education and certification in Manual Therapy, Acupuncture, Concussion Management, Vestibular Disorders, Pain Science, and the Biopsychosocial model. She is a mentor to university students studying Physiotherapy and Kinesiology and has participated in research at both MacMaster and Redeemer University.

With over 30 years of helping people in a variety of settings from surgical units of major hospitals & physiotherapy clinics, to volunteering for athlete care at the Special Olympics, triathlons and golf events, Margaret continues to learn from her team of clinicians. She enjoys working with clients to refine their diagnosis, educate them, rule out other pathologies and work on regaining better function. The pillars to her treatment philosophy include combining manual techniques to comfortably improve movement while at the same time retraining normal movement patterns. Often Margaret will utilize additional modalities such as heat, muscle stimulation, acupuncture and IFC, to help relax and soothe sensitive nerves, muscles, tendons and other soft tissue. She will also work with you individually, teaching specific exercises to get you moving, and keep you moving, towards attaining your activity goal.

In her free time, you may find Margaret at the Round the Bay Race or playing recreational hockey as she enjoys participating in sports for the social aspect more than competitive, and she represented Ontario at CanLan National Tournament for recreational hockey.
