Alana is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist at Pillars of Wellness with more than 10 years of experience working across the continuum of care (critical care, acute medicine, inpatient rehabilitation, and complex continuing care) as well as in outpatient neuro-rehabilitation and dysphagia clinics. She has worked in healthcare in Alberta, Texas, and Ontario.
She has an interest in supporting adults with neurological conditions such as traumatic brain injury, stroke, and progressive brain conditions. Alana values a collaborative approach, working alongside clients to create functional, evidence-informed therapy plans that aim to support recovery and help individuals return to activities that are meaningful to them.

She obtained a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Alberta.
